Setup Guide

Connect Shopify in 6 Steps

Most integrations only take about 10 minutes to set up once you have your account credentials ready.

Open the IPN Settings In your Digistore24 vendor view, head to Settings → Integrations (IPN) and click Add new connection.

Pick Shopify From the List Choose Shopify from the preconfigured systems list.

Enter Your Shopify Details Paste your Shopify Store Subdomain and Access Token into the fields to authorize the connection.

Map Your Products to SKUs Enter the matching SKU or Product ID for each Digistore24 product to ensure the correct item is fulfilled in Shopify.

Set the Scope (Optional) Limit the integration to specific products, languages, or delivery countries.

Activate, Notify, Save Mark the connection Active, enter an email address for error alerts, and click Save. Click Test connection to verify.

A Pro Tip

Start With One Physical Product First

Set the scope filter (step 5) to a single low-volume product on day 1. Place a test order, confirm it lands in Shopify with the right SKU, and then expand the scope to the rest of your catalog.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can 1 Digistore24 product fulfill multiple Shopify SKUs?: Yes. In step 4 of the setup, comma-separate the SKUs in the Product SKU field. Shopify receives each as a separate line item on the order.
What happens to an order if the customer refunds in Digistore24?: The order stays where it is in Shopify, since Digistore24 doesn't auto-cancel fulfillments. If the order hasn't shipped yet, cancel it manually inside Shopify.
Why is my test connection failing?: Most of the time, it's a typo'd API token or a SKU that doesn't exist in Shopify yet. Re-paste the token, confirm the SKU shows in Shopify's product list, and try again.
